Abandoned. . . .

So, my friend abandoned me claiming he had things to do. Among which was watching Lost. That tells you right there where I stand. *chuckles* I know he loves me, but still it would be nice to have someone to talk to. So I decidede I might as well mess around with this a little. I'm in charge of a small camp that will happen over the weekend and I really really really really dont want to go. I'd druther stay at home and chill being sickish and all. I really dont know what to talk about, I'm kinda just going with it I guess. I went red. . .I got tired of m brown hair and decided it was time for a change. It's pretty, bright in a dark way. If that makes aby sense whatsoever. I'm watching my idiot of a dog dig into the couch cover. She does this all the time for a couple of minutes before she curls up and finally lays herself down. Yup, she's cute but not to swift. Daddy's sitting in front of the fire place, tilting back in his chair reading a book. I hope he falls. Oooh, we're running out for treats so I'll be back!

This journey of Internet and self, has come to an end.

So, it's time to say farewell and adieu to the learning 2.0 experience. I've already started adding posts about my self and life, because I'd like to continue this. It's a fun way to express me a little more and what's running through my head on a day to day basis. This program has been long and exciting and sometimes a little repetitive but there hasn't been a dull moment. There's always something going on, whether something new to explore or just having some laughs over what I've just posted. I tend to do that a lot. I've learned new things. Some which I will take with me and some. .. I won't!! I enjoyed this. As I said in one of my earlier posts, I really didn't expect to have any fun with this, and I did which caught me of guard. But I'd do it again. . . . . in a heartbeat.
Anyways, it's been real. Sort of. :D And this author is done.

Ooooooh the many things I've done. . . .

Gwahahaha. . . .

So this is the 29th thing I've done for this Web 2.0, and I'm supposed to blog about my feelings and personal experiences. .. . ect. ect. ect. This should be good.
Hmm . . . . .
Well, I have to say that this has definitely been a trip. I don't think I've ever explore the Internet or it's tools to this extent before. I'm rather fond of Flickr. I really enjoy pictures. Pictures of my self and friends and family, and seeing others and how they capture life on film. I think that's most outstanding. Um, youtube and myspace are probably my favorites, they're what I use the most. In this day and age where technology has expanded and is still expanding and the way to connect is online, I think these are brilliant. Myspace. My . . .Space. Mine! *chuckles* I love that. (For those of you who don't get it, the things in* are actions. :D) So back to myspace, well facebook if we're gonna get technical but same thing really. Online Social Networking. There. This is how I stay in contact with all my friends. Being a Navy Punk and having lots of friends who are Army Brats or Navy Punks like myself, it's hard to make and keep friends when you are constantly moving. I've had a lot of friends come and go over the past five years and I'm really bad when it comes to writing letters and sometimes even emailing. So this tome, is a beautiful thing. YouTube!!!!! I love this website. It's genius! Not only can I look up old music videos and new ones to jam out to. I can find tv episodes, movie clips and whole movies in clips too. I can also post and watch short videos of friends acting like idiots. Heck! I have a few videos of me acting like an idiot! Those are on facebook though. However, it's hilarious and there's always something new. And one more thing, IMing. This is my other in contact. I have a best friend who lives like two hours north of here in Richmond, parents Can't stand him!!! But he's my best friend. And it is really hard to try and make visits between the two of us. So what do we do? We IM. Any time, all the time. Usually later at night when he's doing homework and I'm just chillin. And it's fortunate for me, cause he sucks when it comes to emailing, so this is the only time I hear from him. So, Instant Messenger is my best friend. :D

So. . . .I think those are my thoughts on that.

Ice ice baby. . . .

So i'm up with my brother and his friend and my friend and we're just being stupid. It's quite fun actually. Me and Kates got back from ice skating and ohmigosh the falls! The twirls! The ice cold ice!!!!!!! (No seriously it was hardcore and freezing cold) So it took me a while to get used to the ice beneath my feet and my ankles kept hurting from holding them straight. Bleh!!!! But it was wicked fun. . . i fell more then 15 times. No lie. I kid you not. And it hurt. I fell on my face, on my butt, on my side, and several times my feet just slid out from under me. It was intense. So . . . .

OK, so since we're nearing the end of Web 2.0, I decided I'd have a little fun. So this is officially my new blog spot, open to anything and everything and I will rock it!!!!!
*lol* my co-worker Maiko is standing behind me and making fun of me. I told him I was listening to tarzan and he smiled and said "nuh-uh!"
I let him listen and he chuckled. I had been giving him a hard time for listening to the tarzan soundtrack a while ago so. . .
Bleh! Anyways, i really don't know who's going to read this but, it's kinda fun!!

So. . .I'm thinking that Rollyo is kinda of like the new Ask Jeeves and Google. It pretty much does the same thing as the other search engines. HOWEVER (comma) You can personalize the page to fit you, you can pick where you want to look for the information. The web, Top news, Reference, Health ect. ect. ect.

Libraries online!

So. . . there's sooooo much you can do with podcasting, it's actually really quite cool. There's so many things when it comes to what the other libraries are posting about. They're posting about news, and exhibits and events. And so much more.
(Jeez i sound like a really bad commercial.)
Anyways, I thought it was nifty. I'd say about every 3 in five customers are online and pretty tech savvy and this really is a fabulous way to get things out to them without them having to come in get updated. Not that we don't want them to come. But come on. If you've had a really rough day or are feeling lazy, the last thing you want to do is go out. So food for thought.

Hmm. . . .podcasting.

Interesting I will admit. But at this point in time I really dont have a use for it. Once I hit college it'll probably have more use to me.

I didn't find anything wicked interesting, just a couple of minor things here and there that kinda caught my fancy. It wasn't too hard to do either.
